Toy Dog Breeds

Toy breeds were bred for companionship and are small, portable and devoted, but small does not mean easy. They are often under-trained, because 'he's tiny, it doesn't matter', and can become reactive or hard to house-train as a result. The training priorities are to treat them like a real dog, house-train on a tight schedule, socialize early, and never reinforce fear by coddling.
