Terms of Service
Last updated · 5 May 2026These terms govern your use of TailorPup. They're written in plain English so you actually read them. By creating an account or paying for a plan, you agree to these terms.

1. The service
TailorPup is a dog-training program builder. You answer 10 questions about your dog (breed, age, behaviours, goals) and our AI generates a personalized 12-week training program with daily sessions, exercises, a clicker tool, and progress tracking. The Service is delivered through the TailorPup mobile app (iOS & Android) and the website at tailorpup.com.
2. Eligibility
You must be at least 16 years old to create an account. If you are between 16 and 18 (or the age of majority in your country), a parent or legal guardian must agree to these terms on your behalf.
3. Your account
- You provide accurate, current information about your dog and yourself.
- You keep your password confidential and notify us at support@tailorpup.com of any unauthorized use.
- You're responsible for everything that happens through your account.
- One person, one account. Multiple dogs per account are supported on the Lifetime plan.
4. Subscriptions & payment
TailorPup offers three plans, with prices shown in US dollars:
- Monthly — $9.99 / month, recurring
- Annual — $59.99 / year, recurring (≈ $5/mo)
- Lifetime — $199 one-time, no renewal
Prices include applicable VAT where required. Currency conversion for non-USD payment methods is handled by Stripe (web) or by Apple/Google (in-app).
Auto-renewal (Monthly & Annual)
- Your subscription renews automatically at the end of each billing period at the price in effect at the time of renewal.
- We notify you at least 7 days before any price change.
- To stop renewals, cancel anytime (see Cancellation).
Web vs in-app subscriptions
Web subscriptions go through Stripe. Mobile in-app subscriptions go through Apple App Store (iOS) or Google Play (Android), per their respective terms. Refunds for in-app purchases are handled by the platform — see Apple's or Google's refund policies.
5. Refund policy
We offer a 7-day money-back guarantee on web subscriptions and lifetime purchases. If TailorPup isn't what you expected within the first 7 days, contact support@tailorpup.com and we'll issue a full refund — no questions asked.
After 7 days, web subscriptions are non-refundable for the current billing period, but you can cancel future renewals anytime. The Lifetime plan is final after 7 days.

6. Cancellation
- Web subscription: Settings → Subscription → Cancel. Takes effect at the end of the current billing period — you keep access until then.
- iOS subscription: iOS Settings → Apple ID → Subscriptions → TailorPup → Cancel.
- Android subscription: Play Store → Profile → Payments & subscriptions → Subscriptions → TailorPup → Cancel.
- Account deletion (different from cancellation) — Settings → Privacy → Delete my account, or via our web form.
7. Acceptable use
You agree NOT to:
- Resell, redistribute, or commercialize the program content (it's licensed to you, not sold).
- Scrape, copy, or systematically extract content from the app or website.
- Reverse-engineer the AI generation logic or attempt to extract API keys.
- Use the Service to harm an animal. Methods we publish are positive-reinforcement only — using the app while applying corrections / aversive techniques is misuse.
- Share your account credentials.
- Use the Service to violate any law or regulation.
8. Intellectual property
The TailorPup name, logo, app design, exercise library, and program structures are our intellectual property. Your generated 12-week program is licensed to you for personal use with your dog(s) and household.
Your data is yours. The dog profile, your photos, your training feedback — you own them. You grant us a limited, non-exclusive license to process them for the purpose of running the Service.
9. AI-generated content disclaimer
The training programs are AI-generated. They're built from canine behavioural science principles and reviewed for safety patterns, but they are not a substitute for professional veterinary or behaviourist advice.
If your dog shows signs of severe anxiety, aggression toward humans, or any sudden behavioural change, please consult a certified veterinary behaviourist. Do not rely solely on the app for medical or psychological diagnosis.
10. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, TailorPup is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including but not limited to loss of profits, data, or goodwill. Our total liability for any claim arising from these terms or your use of the Service is capped at the amount you paid us in the twelve (12) months preceding the claim.
Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be excluded under applicable law (gross negligence, wilful misconduct, consumer rights under EU/French law).
11. Termination
You may terminate your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate your account if you violate these terms, with or without notice depending on the severity. On termination, your access stops, but the obligations that by their nature should survive (IP, liability, governing law) remain in effect.
12. Governing law
These terms are governed by French law. Any dispute will be resolved before the competent courts in France, except where applicable consumer law gives you the right to bring suit in your country of residence.
For EU consumers, you may also use the European Commission's Online Dispute Resolution platform.
13. Changes
We may revise these terms. If a change is material we'll notify you at least 30 days before it takes effect. Continuing to use the Service after that date means you accept the new terms.
