Cookies Policy
Last updated · 5 May 2026We use a small number of cookies and similar storage technologies. We don't use advertising cookies. Here's exactly what runs in your browser.
What is a cookie?
A cookie is a small text file a website stores on your device. Some are deleted when you close your browser (session cookies); others stay until they expire or you delete them (persistent cookies). Mobile apps use similar local-storage technologies.
Cookies we use
Strictly necessary (always on)
- Auth session — issued by Supabase Auth when you sign in. Without it, you'd be logged out on every page load. Expires after 1 hour and refreshes automatically.
- CSRF token — protects against cross-site request forgery during login and account-modifying actions.
Functional
- Onboarding draft — stored in
localStorageunder the@onboarding_*prefix. Saves your dog profile in progress so you can resume later. - Winback offer flag —
@onboarding_winbackinlocalStorage. Remembers if you canceled a checkout so we can re-apply the 50%-off discount on your next visit. - Language preference — saves your selected language so you don't have to pick it again.
Analytics (anonymized)
- Microsoft Clarity (project
wm508woqqk) — records anonymized session replays and aggregate heatmaps to help us understand which screens are confusing. Clarity does not collect personally identifiable information; it masks form inputs by default. Cookies set by Clarity:_clck— user identifier (anonymous), 1 year_clsk— session identifier, 1 dayCLID— Microsoft user identifier, 1 year
What we don't use
- No advertising cookies.
- No social-media tracking pixels (Facebook, TikTok, etc.).
- No third-party retargeting.
- No fingerprinting techniques.
How to manage cookies
You can manage or block cookies through your browser settings. Blocking strictly necessary cookies will break the sign-in flow.
To opt out specifically of Microsoft Clarity, you can use a browser extension like uBlock Origin or set Do Not Trackin your browser. Clarity respects DNT signals.
Cookies on the mobile app
The TailorPup iOS / Android app does not use HTTP cookies. It stores your session and onboarding draft in encrypted local storage (AsyncStorage). You can clear it at any time by uninstalling the app or by signing out.
