Online dog training clicker
A clicker is a marker: a short, consistent sound that tells your dog “that exact thing earned a reward.” Tap the button the instant your dog does the right thing, then give a treat.
Clicks this session: 0
How to use it
- Charge the click. Click, then immediately give a small treat. Repeat 10 to 15 times in a quiet room. Your dog learns that click means food is coming.
- Mark behavior, then reward. Click the moment your dog sits, looks at you or lies down, then treat within a second or two.
- One click per behavior. Click once, not repeatedly, and always follow it with a reward.
- Keep sessions short. A few minutes at a time keeps dogs keen.
New to this? Start with teaching sit, name and attention or the clicker training guide. Phone speakers vary in volume, so test the sound with your dog calm and at a distance first, and stop if it startles them.
